Another Great Trip

A couple of weekends ago, Nate and I planned a trip to visit T.Jay and Julie and their cute family in Denver and of course hit up a Rockies and Braves game in our spare time.  (Was it coincidence that Nate wanted to go to Denver on this particular weekend?)
We loved seeing the kids and spinning them up. (Sorry T.Jay and Julie). But we had a great time laughing as they entertained us. We especially loved the magic show.
This boy loves his uncle Nate. They spent a lot of time together.
We caught them taking pictures of themselves with their toes on Nate's phone.

There was this little girl that wasn't so sure about us. We really ruined her weekend and Feng Shui. At least we know that her mom has taught her "Stranger Danger." She is only kind of smiling at me because her little brother is trying to make her laugh.

Then there was the game. Nate was pretty much in baseball heaven. He has always wanted to see his favorite player Chipper Jones in action. He finally got that opportunity and had to take it quick since Chipper is officially retiring the end of this season.
Nate reserved us great seats about 30 rows up from 3rd baseline so he could see his favorite star in action. We were surprised how many Braves fans there were, but I was happy since we were dressed in the opposing color and Nate just had to buy a Chipper Jones jersey for the special occasion.
During the top of the 8th inning it started to rain really hard and we waited it out for about 45 minutes until they resumed play. Over half of the stadium cleared out by this point so Nate and I were able to change our seats and stand a few rows back from the Braves dug-out to see the rest of the game.
The game was fantastic and the Braves ended up winning. A great way to end Nate's dream come true.
We had a great weekend and had to work out really hard the week after since we gained a few pounds from the fabulous food prepared by T.Jay and Julie. Thanks for letting us come and visit!

No way! I'm glad you had as much fun as we had. We were a little worried that we showed up to the wrong game at first... and then... we were very happy we showed up to the right game :)
