Anniversary Palooza!

This last weekend Nate and I were able to celebrate 5 years of marital bliss. Friday afternoon we dropped Emmett off with grandpa and grandma and headed down to Logan to celebrate in style.

We made a spur of the moment choice and ate at Gaucho Grill (a Brazilian grill). We were a bit disappointed it didn't par up to Rodizio's in SLC but we still had quite the fill.
Then we headed to the Eccles Theatre to watch our favorite Bandito in action. We love the Pickleville Playhouse. They are based in Bear Lake but do showings in Logan during the winter season. They do an awesome job and this was probably our favorite Bandito show to date. We laughed and laughed and laughed.
Then we headed to the Anniversary Inn where Nate made reservations for us.
We stayed in the Mansion Suite.
 It was pretty cute.
We enjoyed a leisurely morning and didn't check out until noon. It was so much fun. (Too bad we couldn't sleep in as much as we wanted to. Emmett has conditioned us well).
That afternoon we hit up some shopping and we didn't forget Hobby Lobby. (My favorite store and I'm pretty sure it's Nate's too even though he won't admit it.) To top off the weekend of festivities we met Mel and Kel and little Bubs for lunch. It only made us miss them more but we had a great time!

We had a fun weekend but were definitely missing our little guy. Thank goodness grandma sent us picture updates regularly. Gotta love the morning hair. I ended up trimming it a couple of minutes after I took this pic. Now his face looks even rounder. I love it!
We had a great Anniversary and I have to say I love my Nate man even more than when we got married. (A little mushy....probably).  We have been through lots and I wouldn't trade the experiences we've had with anyone!!!

So fun that you got to go away for your anniversary and holy cow you guys are OLD if you've been married for 5 years now!!

(Also grateful that everyone was fully clothed in the Mansion Suite pictures... thank you for that...)

Love E's crazy morning hair!
